CIO & Gresham Letters

The CIO & Gresham Letters seeks to underscore the importance of social, political, and financial histories in the formulation of investment decisions and theses in the present day. Through the examination of history, the Letters seeks to illustrate how past events have shaped the present and therefore have relevance today and in the future.

The authors ask the reader to be open to the possibility that an awareness of such histories represents an opportunity to answer complex and current investment questions more comprehensively. The hope is that those answers will then contribute to a more thoughtful and robust asset allocation (or trade idea) than might otherwise have been the case.

The Letters are published between eight and ten times a year on a range of topics.
